BSKC members spent an amazing time in Malta on an intensive Karate training course called a Ghashuku. This involved three days of hard training with instruction from some of Europe’s top Sensei’s.
The course wasn’t only restricted to Karate training. Although this was mainly held in the JKA Malta dojo, it included a session on the beach at Golden Bay. We all had the chance to socialise with dinners and a party on Saturday night.
The event was hosted by Japanese Karate Association Malta and had international attendance including other Japan Shotokan Karate England clubs from England. The Karate instruction was excellent as always, given by Sensei’s Roy Tomlin 7th Dan, Ken Hori 6th Dan and Dario Chircop 5th Dan (Head of JKA Malta).
